(OTTAWA,
ONTARIO) The Windsor Express are enjoying their visits to Ottawa.
The
Express took a 12 point lead into the fourth quarter and held on, beating the
Skyhawks 105-102, for their second win in two tries in the nation's
capital.
Stefan
Bonneau was up to his usual antics, posting 33 points on 12-for-18
shooting from the field and 6-for-10 behind the arc.
After Windsor
posted their worst shooting percentage of the season in Monday's loss to
Brampton, they rebounded with one of their best, making 48.2% of their shots
from the floor tonight.
Darren
Duncan led the team with 11 rebounds and four assists and added 20
points.
Chris
Commons steadily delivered 25 points himself.
The victory
stops a two game losing streak for the Express and gives them a 5-4 record after
the first month of the season.
The loss
drops Ottawa to a similar 5-4 mark.
Windsor and
Ottawa will play the back half of their home and home series on Sunday, December
1st at the WFCU Centre. Tip off is
2:00pm.
