(WINDSOR,
ONTARIO) Darren Duncan's double-double over 36 minutes paced
the Windsor Express to a 90-86 victory over the Island Storm on Thursday
night.
The Express
(4-2) get some revenge on the Storm (4-3), who eliminated them in the post
season last year.
The game was
also the first time this season Windsor has played outside the Central
Division.
Duncan posted
20 points and 12 assists, hitting key free throws down the stretch and finishing
14-for-19 from the charity stripe.
The 12
assists were also a season high for the guard.
Chris
Commons battled for 21 points and for the second straight game,
Stefan Bonneau was the team's leading scorer - this time with
nine boards.
The Storm's,
Greg Plummer, had a game high 22 in the loss.
Windsor
welcomes their 401 rivals, the London Lightning to the WFCU Centre on Friday,
November 23rd at 7:00pm.
The season
series between the two foes is tied at 1-1.
