WINDSOR EXPRESS WINS 3RD GAME OF SERIES IN TRIPLE OT

MONTREAL, QC - A free throw by Darren Duncan in triple overtime and 3.9 seconds on the clock solidified a win for the Express over Montreal Jazz 124-121.

This game set a record for the longest game ever played by any team in the National Basketball League of Canada.

The Jazz (1-19) led into halftime by 3 points. By the end of 3rd quarter, Windsor (10-12) had a 12 point lead before Montreal had a strong comeback and tied the game which lead into the 1st overtime.

Mike Helms went to work for the Express while simultaneously tying a league record for highest score in a single game banging out 40 points in addition to 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals.
