WINDSOR'S BORDER CITY BRAWLERS TRAVEL TO MICHIGAN


Windsor’s Roller Derby Travel Team Takes on Michigan’s Eastside Derby Girls

The Great Skate roller rink brings fast-paced roller derby to Roseville, Michigan when the Eastside Derby Girls host Windsor’s Border City Brawlers on Saturday, October 20 for Eastside’s 2012-2013 season home opener.

This is a family friendly event open to all ages and is just a short, 30-minute trip across the border. Doors open at 5:30pm and the first whistle is at 6:30pm. Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door. Children 12 and under are free. First responders free at the door with I.D.

Border City Brawlers, founded in the summer of 2010, is a non-profit sports league with more than 50 members and is Windsor’s only flat-track roller derby league. The league has two house league teams and a travel team that plays throughout Ontario, Michigan, and Ohio.
