The LaSalle Vipers handed out their end-of-season team awards Tuesday night at their annual Year-End Awards Banquet at the Walkerville Brewery.
Veteran forward Korey Morgan was named Most Valuable Player after leading the team in regular season scoring with 31 goals and 56 points. Morgan was a threat to score in all situations, posting seven goals with the man-advantage as well as four shorthanded markers – both team highs.
Brendan Harrogate and Daniel Beaudoin were named co-winners of the Playoff MVP award, after scoring 33 and 32 points, respectively, in the Vipers 29 playoff games. LaSalle was a finalist for both the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League Western Conference and Sutherland Cup titles.
