WINDSOR, ON - A nine point deficit at the half was not enough to slow down the Windsor Express (6-7), who dumped Montreal (0-11), 104-95.
The Jazz outscored Windsor 31-18 in the first quarter and shot 50% from the field through 24 minutes.
But the Express bettered that by dropping 57.6% of their attempts in the second half, marking 28 points in the 3rd quarter and 31 in the final frame.
Darren Duncan led the team with game highs of 31 points and 10 assists.
He was also 18-for-20 from the free throw line, with some key shots down the stretch as Windsor crept closer to the .500 mark.
Lester Prosper chipped in with 10 rebounds, while Kevin Loiselle pulled down nine.
Chris Commons had his strongest game in an Express uniform, adding 28 points.
Windsor will be preparing for a home-and-home series against their 401-rivals in London at the Budweiser Gardens on Thursday, December 20th.
The Express then welcome the Lightning on Friday, December 21st before closing out the weekend with a road game in Oshawa on Saturday, December 22nd.
